Here's a headline on Raw Story: "Trends analyst predicts global youth uprising, ‘progressive libertarians’ in 2011".

"Progressive Libertarians" = "Libertarian Socialists" = "Anarchists" = "Black Bloc" = ??????????.

What I'm saying is that EVERYONE speaks in CODE. Left, Right, "Center" (even that is a code word), everyone.

When the right wing declares, so piously, THEY are not to blame for the recent shootings, even that is a form of code. They are telling their followers, "For ^*&#@ sake, cool it." -- don't be too happy about this. Don't say, "She/they had it coming.". Don't send gleeful messages to any of the far right wing sites - instead, show concern, sympathy - then blame it on "the other side".

"It's the fault of those 'libtard morons'." That's usually followed by "studies" that show being a liberal is a form of mental disease, or a sign of VERY low intelligence.

At the same time, many Democrats call for either banning guns, or limiting the sale of high cap magazines.

This ignores all the facts. It really isn't the guns that kill -- it's the community, the rhetoric, poverty, etc., etc., etc. Heck Washington D.C ranks #1 in murder (2008 - latest figures I could find - FBI Statistics), Texas ranks #20, California #18, New York #27, Vermont #39, New Hampshire #30, Oregon #44.

Washington D.C., New York, and California have among the MOST restrictive gun laws in the nation. The others mentioned have much less restrictive laws - some even permit "open carry", without requiring a permit.

I do not think it's the size of the magazine, nor the ability to purchase a gun (if you pass a background test). It's about mental health awareness and facilities, about public health, about real hope, real change, about having a real future -- not just all the political talk, without any real action.

It's about those who claim to lead being responsible adults. It's about ENDING all the irresponsible rhetoric, the calls for "second amendment remedies", the attempts to make ANYONE who disagrees a "traitor".

If I were a young person today, I'd also be sick and tired of all the strange charges being bandied about by all these millionaires, while the opportunity to earn a living disappears. It's really strange, ALL these millionaires, or soon to be millionaires, calling all the "other guys" (also millionaires) vicious, nasty things.

Then "the party of no" BRAGS about it. We have a depression (for the "little people"), TWO wars, a crumbling infrastructure, MULTIPLE domestic problems -- we are falling behind in almost every area, health care is a disaster -- and folks want to cut everything - while the millionaires give up NOTHING!

Is it any wonder some folks predict a "global youth uprising"?
