Where Am I?

This is not America anymore -- it's a strange dystopia, something not even a wicked satirist could invent. Vicious, mean, ignorant, uneducated, and firm believers in gross untruths. People talk about "The Constitution" when they have no clue what it says, what it means, where it comes from -- and have a strange, limited, false, view of American History.

Everyone wants THEIR perks -- they want EVERYONE ELSE to LOSE THEIRS.

They idolize filthy rich plutocrats, arrogant frat boys, but want to grind down public servants. Screw teachers, end regulation, lower taxes -- but, help us when the shit hits the fan. Screw those "lazy folks" in New Orleans -- but help us when we're flooded - even if we live on a flood plain.

Bigoted, racist, totally un-American.

I suspect we really are getting closer to a Civil War -- and our "leaders" - esp. our Grand Exalted Pooh-Bah, Mr. President B. Obama, sits on his hands, and gives in to the Nazis.
