gripe

Sometimes I think I'm a bit out of touch with "today's modern world". Other times I'm sure of it.

I'm on face book - sort of. I don't check it every day, and I rarely post -- but -- today I went and - lo and behold, what do I see, but a dish someone cooked.

Someone posted their DINNER.

Their DINNER.

This person is not a chef. This is not something you can't make unless you have "special" abilities -- it was just a nice dinner.

I guess I'm of an era where you tell us about it, describe how you made it, and suggest others make it.

BUT, to post a picture of "food porn" and not tell us HOW it's made seems both silly, and (in some ways) cruel.

The world is going to hell in a handbasket -- and folks post food pics! At least it's "amateur".

I REALLY am getting old.
