Yankees lost last night. That first pitch to Delmon Young was a "come on and hit me" fast ball. It just seems Soriano doesn't give a damn. I've thought all along signing him as a set up man was a huge mistake. He appears to be one of the Steinbrenner family deals -- three years, over $30,000,000 for a SET UP guy? That shows how little faith they had in Mariano, how little faith they have in their "baseball guys".
By the way, I think Girardi is a mediocre manager - at best.
Tonight will tell. The entire season on the back of A. J. Burnett?? Mr. Inconsistent and Unreliable. Oh well, tonight we see if any of the $82 MILLION the Yankees spent on him is earned.
