I'm getting tired of reading all the opposing views on the economy, world and otherwise.
It does seem as if it's ALL ideological. All driven by opposing economic views. There seems little reliance on facts (if there are such things these days).
There are times it appears to be gameplaying -- with little, or no concern for what happens to "the little person" -- the one who ends up paying for all the fun and games.
The unrest is real. Here in the USA we have the "teaparty" folks -- disgruntled middle, and former middle, class folks.
I tend to agree with their anger -- it's just that it's directed toward the wrong folks ---- but, that's the beauty of our ruling class, they manage to set folks with the very same complaints against each other, insuring they can never stop, look, and get together, focusing their anger against the real culprits.
It's the very same policy that's been used since the very beginning of time. It kept the old Austro-Hungarian Empire alive for many years, it's now being used to bolster the American Empire.
Where are our heroes? Where is the leader that will soothe the waters. In our past, we had folks like FDR, patricians who realized the best way to stay in power was to give a little. To this day, the fools who want it ALL, see him as a "traitor". They're not smart enough to see he "saved their bacon".
Right now, Obama, though a step forward, is not the answer. He seems "owned" by the financial interests.
The next few years are going to be "interesting".
