Disney town of Celebration records second violent death in a week

I know it wasn't Mickey -- but, both Donald Duck and Scrooge McDuck are suspects.

Authorities are investigating a violent death in the central Florida town built by Disney, just days after the first murder in its 14-year history was reported.

A man apparently killed himself after shooting at police in Celebration.

Craig Foushee, 52, barricaded himself in a house for more than 14 hours, according to Osceola county sheriff's office. Police found him dead with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Twis Lizasuain, a spokeswoman for the sheriff's department, said there was no connection with Foushee's death and that of Matteo Patrick Giovanditto, who was found dead in a housing complex on Tuesday. Giovanditto's murder was the first ever reported in Disney's master-planned community for 11,000 residents.

Giovanditto lived alone and had been killed over Thanksgiving weekend, authorities said.Neighbours hadn't seen him for days, so they filed a missing person's report, then went into his apartment a day later and found him.
