Those are ominous words. Brian and Shannon Gore have been arrested after police, investigating evidence that Shannon Gore had been selling stolen goods, found their 5 or 6 year old daughter caged in their trailer home, gnawing on her own skin.
Then they found the body of another child buried under a shed.
Fine upstanding members of the Christian community, they are.
I don't consider every Christian to be a child-torturing murderer, but one thing I wish we could get across is that church attendance has nothing to do with morality or ethical behavior or goodness of any kind. So why do so many people consider a weekly session with a deranged, delusional ranter in a pulpit to be a seal of approval?

Brian Gore hasn't attended church in I know for a fact 5 years. He wasn't a very religious person whatsoever quite actually. The child was also not gnawing on her skin, the media wants to make it sound even more gruesome and disgusting than it already is. She was in fact eating flakes of skin that had fallen off of her there is a huge difference of gnawing on her self than eating skin flakes.

Oh gosh, I guess it is different. Wow, that must make ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD -- right? MERELY eating her own skin that has fallen off while in her cage -- with another child buried outside.

Yes actually there is a difference when someone pictures a someone gnawing on their flesh you picture them tearing away at their skin and ripping chunks off quite actually!! Maybe your a sick demented person too! Maybe you should be nominated as "biggest inconsiderate idiot of the year." There are way too many sick people in this world and anybody who does such evil demented things will eventually pay one way or another!

I guess you are either a relative or a member of the church these "wonderful" parents, "amazing" human beings belonged to (since you say he is not currently a church goer -- as if that means ANYTHING!).
Get a grip.

But I notice all Taliban Christians are alike, quick to condemn others, unforgiving of any non-Taliban Christians. They are equally quick with the denial that one of their own who commits any sort of heinous crime is a real "Christian".

Actually you weren't pointing out that it was all child abuse you were just being a smart butt about it. Also I AM NOT A FAMILY MEMBER OR A CHURCH MEMBER! I was quite actually addressing my comment to the media! Maybe you should go back and read that part. The fact is that I have spoken to the police officers involved in this case and I in fact state the facts not rumors like the media does! ANY PERSON WHO EVER ABUSES OR MURDERS A CHILD, ANIMAL,OR ANY LIVING THING FOR THAT MATTER IS A SICK DEMENTED PERSON!! They will pay for what they have done either in PRISON from the other in mates, or by THE HAND OF GOD, maybe even by both!! Also in the article it quotes an ex-girl friend saying he went to church and everything and no he didn't as I already said. No it doesn't matter if he did because there are sick people everywhere! In churches, schools, on the streets, in the work place, pastors have done sick things but why that person is trying to make it sound like he was such a good person is sick too!

I think the reporter was trying to play up the "you can never tell" aspect of evil.

I did not demean religious people, did not attack the part of the country he comes from, his family, or the fact he lives in a trailer.

No actually I live in the same county as these sickos and it has really disrupted and disgusted our community! Yeah i protest to much alright when a person knows the FACTS and not the rumors that the media goes and prints it will piss someone of quite a bit!! And what does the fact that you are from Texas have to do with anything I didn't even know that until you just said it And here in Virginia we do believe in the death penalty and Texas is the number one execution state and Virginia is number 2. There is no "Honor" to defend. I just want people to know all the facts and not rumors! I don't know about the new and Media in Texas but here in Virginia they go by anything they hear and when the F3 tornado hit our community and destroyed many homes and one of our schools the news crews camped in peoples yards and sat there waiting the following week when the tornadoes hit Texas and Alabama and the other states and was headed our way and had the nerve to say maybe we can capture a tornado hitting this community again on film. Now isn't that pretty screwed up. That's why the media and News around here pisses me off so bad! I have nothing against YOU I do not even know you as you do not know me and if you were here in VA I could fill you in on a whole lot about this case that would blow your mind but you are not therefore I cannot do that. There was actually an update on this case last night on the news about how the crazy mother tried to escape from the hospital on the night she was arrested. And YES this whole thing is VERY disgusting to me as it is to you and should be to any normal person.
Then, why do you seem to have a problem with the NEWS getting out? If there are errors, what better than to correct them? To call me names because I report a news story seems a bit too much like a defense of SOMETHING -- why not just correct the errors?

I fyou go and look aup all the stories on this at one pointg they were trying to say the little girl was only 2 years old when originally they reported she was 4 or 5. They said she was 2 or 3 because of what rumors were said but in fact she is 6 years old and her name is Allison Gore! The investigator confirmed this too us when we spoke to him! I don't understand why any lawyer would even want to take on this case court appointed lawyers don't have a choice but they have said that she has hired one. I don't know how any lawyer thinks he can win such a sick disgusting case!

Lady you just need to get a grip! you twist everything around and are the one dancing around saying I need to correct it then which i did from the beginning. And yeah maybe you should come here and investigate it I will be the first to greet you. My story is straight you are just someone who does not know the facts.
