Update

We've been getting ready for a very busy weekend.  As a result, I've put very little time into this blog.

It really doesn't matter since every "scandal" of the recent past has been shown to be a made up jumble of nonsensical ka-ka (notice how delicate and precious I am).  Our dear Republican "lawmakers" have shown, once again, they are very willing to lie, and do so poorly.

In the little spare time I've had, I have begun re-reading David Williams "A Peoples History Of The Civil War - Struggles For The Meaning Of Freedom".  From it's very beginning he shows how slavery degraded both the south and the north.  He also shows how religion has been a tool of the oppressor throughout the history of the USA.  Religion has always been a tool of the oppressor  --  being pro-slavery, pro-wealth, anti-Union, anti-"common man", anti-woman.

How anyone with a clear mind can support religious institutions is totally beyond me.

Buy and read this book  --  it's interesting, makes sense, and explains a lot about our current plight.  READ IT!
