Chick-Fil-A

If you are pro-gay rights, I hope you walked or drove by a Chick-Fil-A yesterday.  It was "Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day", promoted by Mike Huckabee, former Governor, former presidential candidate, and one of the head homophobes.

Our local one had a line of cars around the block for the drive-thru window.

That tells you the extent of the problem ALL LGBT folks have.  Folks may pay lip service to "equality", but it does not seem to translate into action.  It seems very easy for homophobes to cast our desire for EQUAL rights as "SPECIAL" rights.  It is very difficult for some folks to  realize they are "blessed" with rights others do not have  --  especially when they take them for granted, when they only realize what they had AFTER it is taken away.

So, any person who thinks putting RIGHTS up to a vote is O.K.  --  what would you do if YOUR rights were voted away?

A lot of elderly and African-American folks in states with strange "voter ID" laws are finding that out   ---   again!

If you actually think you are an AMERICAN  --  support EVERYONE'S rights.  The rights you save might be your own.
