We Need A Leader

It has finally become clear -- Obama has been "The Cool Guy" for too long. His even tempered, let's not confront, let's be "rational" pose no longer works.

He is faced by people who HATE his blackness, claim to hate his policies (even though they do not know what they are), and insist on calling him a "socialist", "communist", "fascist", and who knows what else, because they are angry and frightened.

I'm angry and frightened too. That does not mean I should vote for people who will make me MORE angry and frightened, people who will SHRED whatever "Social Safety Net" is left.

Our initial stimulus was not enough. It was TOO SMALL. I think he (Obama) should put everything behind a bill to REBUILD our infrastructure -- thus creating jobs, increasing State revenues, and bringing a ray of hope -- along with roads, bridges, sewers, water mains, etc.

I guess we can't hope for that -- after all, the "cool guys" can never admit they made a mistake. Like a Cat who misses a jump, they have to look around and say, "I meant to do that".

We no longer need or want "The Cool Guy" -- we NEED a real leader -- be he/she black, white , asian, etc., etc., etc.

We need somone who loves this country, its diversity, its Constitution, its past AND its promise -- its future.

No "teabaggers", no "conservatives", no religious nuts need apply. We need a decent President for a change -- no matter what the ruling oligarchs say (can you believe how STUPID our "best and brightest", our "neo-libs, "neo-cons", our "leaders" are?).
