In some ways, like Albert Ayler, this is an extension of New Orleans Jazz -- granted it's moved quite a way out there -- but before the Bop Revolution, Dizzy was known as, "that trumpet player who hits the wrong notes" -- this among some musicians. We change and grow -- after all, change is the only constant in life. The final change is death.
