Dallas -Fort Worth is currently a winter wonderland. We in our corner of The Metroplex had about 7" of snow. With a current temp of about 26 degrees F., it's not one of the usual snow and melt events.
Under this lovely blanket of snow is ICE - some left over from our earlier rain-freezing rain-snow event, followed by temps in the teens and below.
If I were a religious person, which I'm not, I'd think "The Gods" are not happy with the NFL, The Superbowl, Jerry Jones (owner of The Cowboys), and his new stadium (built at a lot of TAXPAYER expense). We call it "Jerryworld".
Last Sunday it was over 70 degrees -- we were out in tee-shirts.
This area is NOT prepared for snow and ice that lasts. We can deal with 110 degrees far better than we do with 10 degrees.
Happy, happy, joy, joy.
This might serve as a wake up call for some climate change deniers. at least we could hope it does.
