I'm Back

Have been away for a few days -- finally back -- ready to begin again.

Went to Houston to the Houston Museum of Fine Art to see a show on Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings. A really fine show.

The Houston Museum has a wonderful permanent collection, and gets some great shows. I do not like the city, but they do have some good museums.

Anyway, I'm happy our Obama has not quite capitulated to the VSP's (very serious persons) -- esp. those who take Paul Ryan seriously.

Let's hope he actually has some backbone.
