Earlier today I put up a little post titled "Tornadoes". I wondered why no one asked if God hated the south, the bible belt, and the ministers who preach hate from their pulpits.
Perhaps some folks think I'm being a bit coarse. Perhaps some think I lack compassion.
If you are among those -- think back to 9/11. Think to the way so many of the "religious" claimed the attacks were "Gods will", "Gods punishment" -- how we were being punished for being too "easy" on gays, how we were being punished for our "lax morals".
Gosh guys, it seems the reddest of red states are being "punished" through wind and water. Also, right now Texas (another anti-equality state) is in the grip of multiple wildfires.
Lets see, tornadoes, rain, thunder, lightening, hail, fire -- looks a lot like something an "All-American-Konservative-Kristian" "preacher" would yell about from his "pulpit" when discussing "Gods Wrath" --- doesn't it?
