Got a Dr. appointment tomorrow -- get my leg looked at. The pain in my calf is a little better, but I still can't walk very well.
Getting old can really be a pain - in more places than you can imagine. Heck, about 1 1/2 weeks ago I almost ripped off a toenail -- it was a bit long and caught on the inside lining of my sneakers -- as a result it was lifted from the nail bed. I didn't notice it at first simply because much of that foot is numb from peripheral neuropathy caused by my diabetes. By the time the signals reached my brain - it hurt like a #$%*&(!!#@%^!
Now that entire nail is an interesting shade of purple, and is getting ready to go bye-bye.
These are little things that never happened when I was younger. Now, with just one or two different "conditions", the medications taken, and the potential side effects, multiply.
As Rosanne Rosanadanna said -- "If it's not one thing, it's another.". Also, you never quite know WHAT might just compromise your mobility. Fun, fun, fun!!
