College Athletics

Read the article that follows this post -- let it all sink in. Soon, you will realize that Penn State, "St. Joe Pa", and all the other schools and coaches are just a bunch of whores, a group of ego driven men, who USE their "student athletes", and their "character building" as a way to PROVE THEY are "the best" at what they chose to do.

Of course the "big money" -- for both the school, and the coach -- follows.

We once again have the tail wagging the dog -- unless you begin to understand that the STUDENTS at many "football factories" are secondary to THE TEAM.

The entire system SUCKS --- and, I'm a sports fan. I've followed my alma mater for 55 years, was there (Syracuse) for their one and only football national championship (1959), and even follow the basketball team - even though I do not like basketball.

Either reform or, better yet, ABOLISH ALL "big time" college athletics.
