Just a tiny bit more

In a previous post about our current dystopian society I said "more to come".  Well, every time I started writing I dissolved into a state of "Lewis Black incoherence".  There's so damn much.  So many "Christians", "Jews", and "Muslims" who cover their hatred of all us "others" in some insane goat-herders "pronouncements" from 1500 or more years ago.

they all have THEIR "Holy Book"  --  also written to (somehow or other) make THEIR CULT "the best".  Also, GOD FORBID you say it's all a crock of shit!

Over the years, the believers of one "Holy Book" have been at war with the believers of another  ---  and, they both hated those who believe in the third  --  even though the "Holy Book" of the third is the basis of THEIR "Holy Books".

Now, when those who believe in the foundational "Holy Book" have their own country, they begin to show that they can be as insane as the other two.

This is beyond all the small stuff  --  like unfounded hatred of minorities, scapegoating, insane predictions of what THEIR "GOD" (the ONLY TRUE "GOD") will do.

For a long time it was the Jews who were the preferred scapegoats.  The other two groups agreed  --  "it's all the Jews fault!".   Some folks even went as far as attempting to kill ALL THE JEWS IN THE WORLD.  While they did that  --  lots of folks just sat by, and watched  --  going "tsk-tsk" once the true horrors were exposed.

Now, it seems, all THREE of those "major religions" (and their "offshoots") have joined together to HATE TEH GAY!!

Think about it  --  an ecumenical collaboration by all of the fundamentalist "believers".  They can ALL agree to HATE THE SAME GROUPS!!

Isn't it WONDERFUL?

Anyone who doesn't believe a "cleansing" might just happen in the next 10-15 years isn't looking.

It's either that or religion will cease being as important as it is today.

I don't think any "Religion" can succeed without someone to hate.  That "devil" has to be personified.  There has to be someone to HATE.  Without an "us vs. them" dynamic, you can't keep "the flock" together.  So  --  if you are anywhere on the LGBT/TQ spectrum please be aware.

As a Texas resident it amuses me to see how some folks in North Carolina are so "betrayed" by the recent decision to make anything but Heterosexual MARRIAGE unprotected and illegal.  What did they expect?  Times are bad.  People are going backward, barely hanging on  --  they've just got to hate SOMEONE.  They don't want to hate those who caused this mess  --  after all, they've been voting for them for years.  They can't actively blame "the winners of society" (rapacious greed-head criminals)  --  so, might as well blame THEIR problems on some LGBT/TQ folks who are trying to mind their own business. 

I think it's about time folks all over the country begin to UNDERSTAND that gobs and gobs of "preachers" and "pastors" are preaching HATE and MURDER to their Congregations.  It's not an isolated case  --  it's all over, all the time. 

Get a grip folks  --  and get ready for some more "hate crimes".  No laws will protect us.  In some cases, if we protect ourselves, WE WILL be prosecuted.  No one likes a "bad sport".
