Penn State? Roman Catholic Church? -- what's the difference?

That's simple -- the Penn State scandal is (so far) local -- the R.C.Church scandal is INTERNATIONAL (if not Galactic). NOW -- from "Merry Old England" a "sparkling" headline:

"Roman Catholic church's paedophile investigator jailed for possessing thousands of child porn images

Church orders review of child protection across the South West of England
Father-of-four was responsible for children's safety at 120 churches and community groups for nine years
Police found more than 4,000 child porn images on his church-supplied computer."

See, it's NOT just the Priests, Bishops, Cardinals, etc -- it's the lay people who are to PROTECT children from the predators.

So, if someone SEEKS the job of "protecting children" check them out VERY carefully, and find out WHY.
