Why can't I find a pair of REAL DENIM Blue Jeans

We recently went shopping for jeans. Not "fashionista" jeans. Not stretch jeans. Just plain old heavy duty denim blue jeans. Unadorned.

They do not seem to be available for women. It's either stretch, flimsy fake denim, wildly adorned, or just plain crap. Even old standbys like Bass Pro Shops (yes, I have several pairs of their old, real denim, blue jeans - some of which have paint and stain on them, others which are frayed and faded in wonderful ways) seen to have gone on some strange almost fashion bandwagon.

Is the only solution Levi's 501's?

Aren't there ANY low priced real jeans left in this world?

What the hell have we done to this country that EVERYTHING is made in China, and we are CAPTIVE to the crap they sell us as "denim", as "clothing"?
