Mad Men??

There's a show on TV about 50's and early 60's ad. men. It appears to be very popular.

WHY??

I lived through that era. It was nothing to write home about. Why this nostalgia for a nasty time for ALL minorities, women, and anyone slightly different?

I do not understand it -- but then again, I lived through that time.
