Isn't it just wonderful

Good stuff -- the Catholic Church continues its implosion, more trans-Atlantic flights have been canceled because of that volcano in Iceland (land of geothermal heat - and volcanoes), the blown Gulf oil well continues to spew, our economic situation becomes ever more uncertain, the U.K. has no real government, the EU is beginning to realize the extent of the mess (finally), and no one knows exactly why the Dow Jones fell 1000 points in a matter of minutes.

Otherwise, everything is just dandy -- AKA - all screwed up.

I wish I had something clever to say, some witty little thing -- but all I can think of is: My, my, what interesting times.

When I was a child, I never thought I'd live to see the end of "Western Civilization" --- brought about, not by outside forces, not by Fascism or Communism, but by the utter stupidity and cowardice of ALL the "leaders of the free world".

Now they seem too frightened to govern.

How absolutely dumb they have been -- left, right, and center -- so stupid they cannot see where their real self interest is. Too dumb to understand the real values that made America "great".

Some day, they will have ALL the money and power -- and have no place to live.

As I've said time after time -- I'm rather happy I'm now 71 instead of 31.

I do not envy all you young kids out there.
